New pre-sale cross reference list developed

The British Columbia Real Estate Association (BCREA), the Canadian Home Builder's Association, and the Urban Development Institute have banded together to create a new tool to assist home buyer's in the purchase of pre-sale homes in BC.

Pre-sales have over the years led to thousands of Vancouverites and other residents of BC to enter into contracts to buy new homes before the construction of their homes had begun or during the construction period.  The goal of the cross reference list will be to ensure homebuyer's are aware of the special considerations involved in purchasing these properties.  

The list will help home buyer's determine when advice or clarification is needed when going through the process of purchasing a home in a developement under construction. Buyer's unfamiliar with pre-sales should have always have extensive consultation with a Realtor experienced in pre-sales investments and not simply rely on information provided by agents employed by the developer.
