Downtown condo prices and inventory rise in May but market may be cooling


May saw downtown condo and townhome inventory rise for the 2nd consecutive month, sales rise slightly after April's dip, and the HPI price index come down by 4% month to month. Though sales downtown and across Greater Vancouver appear to be cooling after previous record highs they remain well above the 10 year average.  Buyer's still need to move quickly on well priced properties and can expect competition in certain price bands.
