About My Family and I
Like many Vancouverites when not working we are a family of outdoor enthusiasts. On a sunny summer day off my wife, son, and I can be found cruising along the Stanley Park seawall on our way to one of Vancouver's amazing beaches or pools. If I can get an afternoon or day away I'll do some downhill mountain biking on the North Shore or in the Whistler bike park. Otherwise I'll get an hour or two every week playing some tennis at my local court, or soccer up at UBC. Having grown up skiing and snowboarding my family and I like to spend our free time in the winter on the ski slopes catching a few days at Whistler (10cm rule!) or if I'm lucky and finish a day early a few late evening runs at Cypress Mountain.
I went to the University of Western Ontario after high school to pursue a degree in Environmental Resource Management. After graduating I found the career prospects to be far from what I had envisioned for myself and decided to take up an excellent work opportunity in Tokyo, Japan. It was an amazing experience, the people and culture were amazing, and the food ... can't get enough of it! ... but after a few years I felt the need to be back in Vancouver with family and friends.
Having had a mother that was a Realtor, and a close cousin currently working in the industry I knew that being a real estate agent was the right fit for me. The work involves working closely with people each day and it is always stimulating as market fluctuations allow me to find different opportunities for clients in areas I know well.
I take a lot of pride in the quality of my service and most recently was awarded the Sutton "Director's Award". Meeting new people, and helping them through the home buying and selling process provides me with a deep sense of job satisfaction. To be able to help someone achieve their dream of home ownership is a very special moment.
